A Great American Thinker: Bill Whittle

A Great American Thinker: Bill Whittle

Bill Whittle has been engaged in the arena of ideas for more than a decade; his pro-American ‘takes’ are consistently a cut above most anything else you will read or view elsewhere, and several cuts above any commentary in the legacy media.   By cuts above, we mean more intellectually rigorous and honest and self-aware than the alternatives.  And maybe we should say ‘cuts deeper’ rather than ‘cuts above’, because Whittle’s posts are not for the superficial.

In our view, he’s in a league with Mark Steyn and Victor Davis Hanson in terms of the quality of insight that emerges from breadth of knowledge.  And his output volume, in terms of depth and frequency, is rather amazing.  He’s built what appears to be a fairly lucrative enterprise out of the sheer quality and passion of his thinking, and his determination to share it in winning ways with all parts of the current culture.

Check out Bill Whittle’s latest: “The Power of Wanting”.  He’s speaking of the heart’s desire for what America’s founding ideas represent—and the lack of coherent, consistent voices proclaiming that desire as universal truth.  His messages will resonate with the America Can We Talk? audience.
