12 Oct America in the Twilight Zone in 2026

Perhaps the Twilight Zone series will be reinstituted someday, and will have an episode on America in October 2026. It might begin with “…imagine if you will”:
In the first 22 months of this American Presidency —
RESTORING AMERICAN ECONOMY & SAFETY & PRIDE
A massive restoration of American manufacturing capacity was initiated and clearly underway, propelled by $20+ trillion of new investment;
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in September 2026, median household income reached its highest figure since America began tracking that data in 1967, poverty fell to its lowest level ever recorded, childhood poverty hit a record low, and poverty among Hispanic Americans fell to historic lows; the American economy employed more people than ever in American history.
According to the FBI, violent crime fell 9.3 percent in 2025, which was the largest one year drop in national violent crime rate ever recorded; murder fell 18.1 percent, robbery fell 18.5 percent and burglary fell 15.8 percent.
The World Cup was held almost entirely in America in the summer of 2026, with record-setting crowds and refreshed global respect for and celebration of the modern marvel that is America and the American culture;
America celebrated the 250th anniversary of her founding, with a surge of patriotism felt in all 50 states.
RESTORING AMERICA’S MILITARY
America’s military, weak due to a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan and preposterous DEI burdened confusion, was suffering from a dangerous and unsustainable failure to meet recruiting quotas under the previous administration, and it was radically strengthened and improved under President Trump who restored its priorities. SO improved that recruitment far exceeded goals for all branches of the military – signifying belief in America again;
American troops were withdrawn from Iraq, Syria and western Europe, and efforts were led by the American administration determined not to expand but to end the war in Ukraine;
SECURING THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE INCLUDING AMERICA
America’s southern border, which in the previous four years had been overrun with 20+ million foreigners—unvetted migrants at best, and virulently dangerous anti-American lawbreakers at worst—was absolutely closed up, without kinetic military action and without material changes in law;
President Trump reached agreement with Greenland and Denmark for a permanent American military presence on Greenland, including a ban on Chinese and Russian military presence there. Plans are underway to build two U.S. military bases there. This preemptively protected America and the western hemisphere from aggression by Russia (less than 1,000 miles away) and by China (under 5,000 miles apart). The strategic importance of Greenland to US security was recognized by past presidents including President Truman.
The Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro was deposed and taken into custody by American forces, resulting in the oil reserves of that country (perhaps the largest in the world) being secured for the future supply of American energy needs;
The Panama Canal, which had come under de facto control of Communist China during previous administrations, was restored to American/Panamanian control;
A ‘Shield of the Americas’ was established to buttress an historic realignment that refocused American economic and defense policy on protection of the Western Hemisphere rather than serving as a global police force;
The Trump-inspired spirit of freedom, and determination to reject communism, crime, and corruption, has led to multiple conservative presidential victories in South America:
Abelardo del la Espriella (“The Tiger”) in Columbia in 2026;
Keiko Fujimori in Peru in 2026;
Javier Milei in Argentina, the presidency in 2023 and midterms in 2025;
Daniel Noboa in Ecuador, 2023 and again 2025; and
Rodrigo Paz in Bolivia in 2025.
PROGRESS IN QUEST FOR A STABLE MIDDLE EAST
A Board of Peace in the Middle East began working toward a rebuild of Gaza that the UN had not done and could not do;
The 47+ year ‘Death to America’ regime of Iran was reduced to military impotence, with the assistance of other Islamic countries whose leaders recognized the danger the irrational Iranian mullahs posed to the world, all without the use of ground troops, and at a cost of fewer than 20 (always precious) American lives (an achievement no one thought possible);
And this is only a partial list.
Rod Serling might then pause and say…”with just these achievements and nothing more, the obvious objective view would be that this is a massively, positively accomplished Presidency, led by a President who is driven to execute on a bold strategic vision that will benefit the American people for decades if not centuries.”
But in the Twilight Zone tradition of surreal experiences, the objective view of this Presidency and this President would inexplicably be rejected by some in the elite ruling class of America. And so it is that in leftwing crazy America, despite the measurable progress on so many fronts, benefiting so many Americans in tangible ways, the Twilight Zone rejection of reality has indeed taken hold.
The TDS that has infected so many in the media and elsewhere has led them to fabricated investigations, fabricated impeachments, fabricated insurrections, fabricated lawsuits, assassination attempts, refusal to acknowledge good news and achievements for the benefit of the American people, etc., etc.
And the TDS infection is intentional, orchestrated, because President Trump’s successes are extraordinary, and if unimpeded would lead America back on the path toward our place (in Reagan’s words) of being a ‘shining city on a hill.’ His successes make the Deep State and Uniparty crowd look weak, because he is proving that all that he has done could have been accomplished, but for the failure of courage of previous leaders.
Take another look at the bullet point list of achievements led or directed by the current President. Exactly which one or ones are deserving of scorn? Which hurt Americans?
America needs to escape this Twilight Zone episode of 2026. The current President has two years to go, and is clearly setting the stage for a level of prosperity and security and progress not seen or experienced in decades. Americans must not let the manipulative machinations of a secular ruling elite obscure or block the incredible future prospects of this country and all of its citizens under the leadership of President Donald Trump.
The highest loyalty of every patriot should be to America. President Trump is restoring America as intended. There is much more to be done in the coming years to reverse the slide into globalism, socialism and weakness which has sadly become the goal of the American Left.
Vote “R” up and down the ballot in November. It’s truly our last best hope.
