To the American patriot, throughout the first 250 years of America’s existence and hopefully onto the next 250 years, the title of this post captures the spirit of the nation as he believes it was founded and intended to be…the very basis for taking the stand that something so fundamental as ‘we the people—without a monarch, dictator or ruling elite—can achieve and maintain freedom through self-government.

To the cynic (or leftist or Marxist or communist), the title of this post is naïve, unrealistic, truly silly, or at the very least outdated.

The cynic derives his view from many elements of thinking prevalent for millennia, to wit:

• • Pontius Pilate, a part of the Roman ruling class, heard Jesus say his mission was to bear witness to the truth. Pilate seemed to shrug off Jesus’ statement as naïve or unrealistic; he responded with:   “What is truth?”

• • George Orwell, who wrote the hauntingly prescient novel 1984, depicted the ultimate nightmare exemplification of government tyranny as the assertion of power to define or redefine truth in the minds of ordinary people as the circumstances of the moment may require. This tyranny culminated in the insistence that the main character, Winston Smith, finally and unconditionally accept that 2+2=5 if the government says so.  The government had made it intolerable and unrealistic (through threats of torture) for Smith to think otherwise.

• • Colonel Nathan Jessup (the fictional Marine masterfully portrayed by Jack Nicholson in “A Few Good Men”) conveyed the attitude of many elites, when he voiced his contempt for an arrogant young lawyer (played by Tom Cruise) because the lawyer in Jessup’s view was a pampered pretty boy who had no understanding or appreciation for the warrior mentality that was necessary to defend against the reality of dangerous evil in the world: “You can’t handle the truth!”

Yet America’s Founding Fathers could not have been more distant from Pilate’s attitude; they asserted in the Declaration of Independence their belief in nothing less than ‘self-evident’ truths about the Creator, the nature of His creation, and the inalienable rights given to man by the Creator.

That ‘all men are created equal’ was as final to them as 2+2=4…and would never change, even if an Orwellian ‘Big Brother’ government claimed the power to make it change.

And the Founding Fathers gave structure to their conviction that a principal purpose of legitimate government is to protect those God-endowed inalienable rights, by insisting upon the concept of ‘government by the consent of the governed’.  In contrast to the view of the fictional Colonel Jessup, they believed ordinary ‘moral and religious’ people can  handle the truth—even when the truth is frightening or deeply disappointing—and govern themselves and their society wisely and peacefully if given the right to do so.

The American patriot of 2025 is aligned with the vision and values of the Founding Fathers, not of the cynic.  And the American patriot of 2025 is boiling over with a combination of rage and contempt at elected officeholders and institutional voices who have made a mockery of truth and honesty in enormously consequential settings, to wit:

• • High-ranking officials of the executive branch of the American government made up a story of Russian collusion with a presidential candidate these officials did not approve of; they fabricated evidence of such collusion; they lied to courts in order to obtain surveillance authority of the candidate; they falsely asserted that Russians ‘hacked the DNC emails’ when they knew that a young Bernie Sanders supporter and DNC staffer named Seth Rich had lifted the emails and given them to Julian Assange of Wikileaks. The lies about the origin of the DNC emails not only resulted in Seth Rich’s murder (almost certainly at the direction of the weaponized government), but stoked a false narrative of extreme Russian villainy that was critical for justifying an all-in-for-Ukraine posture in a war which has drained the US Treasury and resulted in hundreds of thousands, if not millions of deaths, not to mention the laundering of billions of dollars to corrupt officials and organizations in every country involved, including the USA.

And yet, not one of the perpetrators of all these lies has faced accountability.  American patriots cannot abide this result in a nation they believe to be anchored in respect for truth, and in accountability for dishonesty.

• • High-ranking officials in the public and private sectors of the American healthcare industry (and the then Department of Defense) lied about the origins of the covid bioweapon; lied about the existence of any ‘science’ in support of lockdowns, masks, six-foot spacing; lied about the test results and ‘efficacy’ of gene-therapies-labeled-as-vaccines; lied about the utility and history of alternative treatments for covid (such as hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and inhaled budesonide) in order to secure ‘emergency use authorization’ and legal immunity for mRNA manufacturers; and lied about injuries and deaths from covid and from injection of mRNA vaccines.

And yet, not one of the perpetrators of all these lies has faced accountability.  American patriots cannot abide this result in a nation they believe to be anchored in respect for truth, and in accountability for dishonesty.

• • High-ranking officials in the executive branch and in the judicial branch have denied or continued to run from the overwhelming evidence of the stolen election of 2020 and the government-orchestrated, instigated and court-validated ‘fed-surrection’ of January 6^th, which was a device purposefully designed to create (1) an ‘emergency’ by which Congress could be forced to quickly certify the fraudulent election result, and (2) a bludgeoning tool for disqualifying Trump from holding future office as an ‘insurrectionist’ and by which Trump supporters could be jailed and treated mercilessly for their ‘attack’ on democracy.

Check the most recent work of Patrick Byrne[1], Emerald Robinson and Elizabeth Nickson, which has not been and will never be ‘refuted’ or ‘debunked’ by anyone, because it is the truth.  (And their work is focused on voting machines and the roles of Venezuela, Serbia, Iran and the CCP in designing, installing and using them in US elections, and does not even take up the matter of mail-in ballots—which were a too-convenient by-product of the covid lies and were themselves almost certainly another ‘deep state’-created tool for facilitating the steal of the 2020 election).

The ‘non-debunked’ and non-debunkable detail and evidence presented by Byrne, Robinson and Nickson (among others) is now so overwhelming that there is no longer any excuse for sentient, informed Americans of whatever political philosophy NOT TO KNOW that (1) the 2020 election was rigged and stolen; (2) the real threat to survival of the Republic is not Donald Trump but the people in government who believed they had the right and the authority to take from the American people their right to choose their President (and if that failed, to impeach, or arrest and imprison, the candidate they deemed unfit); and (3) the truth regarding the stolen 2020 election and the perpetrators and the means used by them, and the national, existential imperative to do everything possible to prevent this from ever happening again, should be and is the unifying, de-polarizing force that America so sorely needs.

And yet, not one of the perpetrators of all these lies—with the single possible exception of the recently arrested ‘pipe bomber’ suspect—has faced accountability.  American patriots cannot abide this result in a nation they believe to be anchored in respect for truth, and in accountability for dishonesty.

• • High-ranking officials of the executive branch lied about their opening of the borders; lied about enforcement of existing immigration laws; lied about the vetting process applied to various immigrant groups; and lied or denied the criminal and/or military backgrounds of thousands of immigrants lawlessly entering the country. In summary, they lied in order to cover over their unmistakable intent:  to use wide-open, uncontrolled immigration to overwhelm the welfare, healthcare and education systems of the nation—an expanded variation of the Cloward-Piven strategy—to take down the American Republic.  (With only a change in the President in 2025 and no material change in existing law, the entirety of the open-borders abuse was effectively shut down in a matter of a few months.)

And yet, not one of the perpetrators of all these lies has faced accountability.  American patriots cannot abide this result in a nation they believe to be anchored in respect for truth, and in accountability for dishonesty.

This list could go on for pages…the Epstein files and the Butler assassination attempt are just two more examples of official lying and denial—examples which again involve perpetrators who have never faced accountability.

To have a chance for a next 250 years, Americans must insist on a return to a society and government that honors truth and its concomitants:  accountability and justice for those individuals who do not honor truth—i.e., those who engage in brazen dishonesty in the conduct of the affairs of the nation. 

Contrary to Pilate’s musing and Orwell’s warning, objective truth exists and is not changeable by people in positions of power.  And contrary to Colonel Jessup’s contemptuous opinion, Americans CAN handle the truth.  What they can’t handle—and what the Republic cannot survive—is a government without the humility to respect and honor truth, and without the moral clarity and fortitude to punish dishonesty—i.e., a government of never-ending lies and liars, and a corrupt institutional system that protects them.

[1] The recent hullaballoo surrounding Byrne’s express admission of having been a “Tier 1 asset” of the CIA who worked for John Brennan is unsettling to some.  Once admitting to working for the CIA, the reasoning goes, nothing Byrne has said or ever will say about anything will be trustworthy.  It’s possible Byrne is so far into practiced doublespeak and misdirection that he doesn’t know what truth is, much less how to tell it.  But there has never been any doubt that he was in the middle of the post-2020 election meetings with Trump, and that he has since pointed out many verifiable facts about the tracing of just how the 2020 election was rigged.  We believe his basic story is going to be validated in full once the entire assembled information about the 2020 election comes out.  Trump has specifically stated the full story will come out ‘in about two months’ (from December 9, 2025).
