The First Five
Debbie takes up the pivotal Ronald Reagan question: are you better off now than you were four years ago? Eight years ago? The answer is unquestionably and unequivocally, NO. Just look at the trajectory of the country. Islamic violence, racial tension, healthcare chaos moving to single payer, home ownership, labor force participation—all worse than ever. And Hillary? A serial, proven liar about just about everything, and corrupt to the core.
And polls suggest Hillary will win????
Author and former Muslim Nonie Darwish calls in to talk with Debbie about new book “Wholly Different: Islamic Values vs. Biblical Values”, and the need for clarity in America about the nature of the Islamic threat. Nonie has remarkable insights into Islamic teaching and culture, so important for Americans to understand.
Especially relevant as the clock boy case gets underway in Irving, Texas.
In the second hour…
Leading ladies Lorie Medina and Mari Sullivan join Debbie for the second hour roundtable.
The opening Rapid Fire question: Trump is doing a run against the Crooked Media by openly talking about HIS War on Media…is that smart and fair OR not?
Lorie thinks not…everybody likes to poke the media, but the real opponent is Hillary Clinton, and he needs to focus on her.
Mari thinks the war on the media is a good thing. The media is just so obviously corrupt and biased—the American people will rally to him.
What can Trump to do to overcome what the polls suggest about Hillary’s lead?
Mari thinks his personal conversational style needs improvement, but the media will not relent no matter what he does.
Lori thinks he has to do more of the traditional blocking-and-tackling of campaigning. He needs to be buying more ad time.
Debbie D’Souza, wife of documentary filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, calls in to talk about her own story growing up in socialist Venezuela. Socialism is poison, always has been, and always will be.
