The First Five

Debbie takes up the need for constant vigilance against the relentless bias of the media.  Recent examples:  Facebook touted a false story suggesting Colin Powell endorsed Hillary’s email practices; entire talking head panels are gathered to talk about Ryan Lochte’s ‘over-exaggeration’, but not a word about Obama’s $400M ransom payment; and Obama’s ignoring of Louisiana’s flooding in 2016 gets not a peep from the media—while George W. Bush was crucified for far less in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.

Donald Trump has clearly stepped up his campaign messaging—a couple of soundbites from recent speeches prove it.  Ignore the media’s constant smears and distortions.

Author Pete Hegseth calls in to talk about his book “In the Arena”—an idea captured in a speech by Teddy Roosevelt delivered in Paris over one hundred years ago.  An inspiring ‘must-listen’ interview with a high-energy, deeply patriotic veteran, talking about the calling to all American people to value and speak up to preserve America ‘the Republic’.  So many gems about core American values—for which there should never be an apology.

In the second hour….

Lt. General Michael Flynn calls in to talk about his visible role advising Donald Trump on security relative to the fight against radical Islam..and many other subjects.  A compelling interview.

Leading ladies Chris Davis and Drinda Randall join Debbie for the second hour roundtable.  The rapid fire question:  Donald Trump is making a direct pitch for African-American voters…can he make headway on turning the black vote away from the Democrats?

Chris is thrilled to see Trump speak up to the members of the black community who want law and order and safety in their own neighborhoods.

Drinda also loves the direct approach; the businessman in him is showing through.

Are we seeing the beginnings of Trump the uniter?
