The First Five

Debbie leads the talk radio response to the Orlando catastrophe. This was an Islamic terrorist attack. Repeat: this was an Islamic terrorist attack. Every discussion of what to do next must start from this baseline, and Americans must not be oblivious to the actual teachings of Islam. The killing of gays is authorized; a Florida imam even said in 2013 that killing gays is an act of compassion.

Author and guest Virginia Prodan joins Debbie (and leading ladies Lorie Medina and Mari Sullivan) in studio to talk about her life story as described in her new book “Saving My Assassin”. A gripping and inspiring story of Christian faith in an aggressively godless socialist country (Romania). People jailed for fictitious crimes; a culture of informants everywhere; state control in every direction. And there are signs of these tendencies in America. Political correctness silencing dissent, fear of men, and disregard of God—that’s the formula.

Worth another listen!

The Stanford rape case comes in for comment. A tender topic that’s not political but is profoundly cultural. The hookup culture is not a moral advance; and the twitter mob’s approach to justice, with narratives of ‘white privilege’ and death threats to the judge, is very dangerous.

In the second hour….

A technical glitch prevented broadcast of the show until about 7: 17…

Leading ladies Lorie Medina and Mari Sullivan continue with Debbie for the second hour roundtable.

Special guest and passionate pro-life spokesperson Lisa Luby Ryan joins Debbie in studio to talk about the abortion issue in the 2016 election. Hillary is way out there in the realm of support of abortion-on-demand. But Lisa says the immediate gratification of abortion obscures the ‘forever’ consequences.

Estimates are that as many as 75% to 80% of incarcerated women are in prison because of crimes committed in the aftermath of inability to cope with the guilt and shame and embarrassment of an abortion.

Switching topics: Donald Trump and Judge Gonzalo Curiel—could the GOP get a grip?  The wise Latina Sonia Sotomayor (now a Supreme Court Justice) said nothing different than Trump.  Just more of the disconnect between the people and the ruling class in Washington.

Remember and honor Flag Day on June 14th!

….and stand by for a switch of the name of this show to “America, Can We Talk?” with the July 3rd show–
