The Easter attack in Lahore, Pakistan deserves more attention, as does the murder of a Muslim shopkeeper in Glasgow—for the evil of wishing his Christian friends a happy Easter. There are demands for a ‘new normal’ of accommodating Islamic terrorism which are simply unacceptable. Strong American leadership is imperative. Assimilation must be back on the table as an integral part of immigration policy and practice.
