19 Apr On Tulsi, the Sleeping Giant, and the Mid-Terms
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released a statement on, and made criminal referrals to the DOJ of two individuals[1] involved in, the effort to impeach President Trump (during his first term) for having made what was represented to be an unlawful call to Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Cut to the chase, and what Director Gabbard revealed is:
…the CIA tried to remove a sitting US President[2].
Again…Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released documented proof that:
…the CIA tried to remove a sitting US President.
And they did so by fabricating a narrative to the effect that a phone call made by President Trump to Ukrainian President Zelensky amounted to an unlawful attempt to interfere with a US election—i.e., to harm the electoral prospects of Joe Biden.
The purposeful deceit of the CIA indicated by Tulsi Gabbard’s report is raw and unconscionable: an actual transcript of the Trump phone call—showing that it was harmless and NOT illegal in any way—existed and was willfully ignored by Trump’s accusers in favor of vague concern about the phone call by a CIA operative/whistleblower (Eric Ciarmella) who was not a participant on the phone call.
Translated, it appears an actual impeachment of President Trump was launched by the CIA/Deep State/legacy media/Uniparty complex of Washington DC, and carried through to an impeachment vote by the US House of Representatives, based on:
(1) zero direct evidence,
(2) zero first-hand witness testimony, and
(3) despite the existence of a transcript of the phone call showing zero basis to allege impropriety of any kind.

There is in the lore of American history a remark attributed to Admiral Yamamoto of the Japanese navy, following the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, to the effect that “I fear that all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.”[3]
The legacy media is not actively covering Director Gabbard’s report and referrals; they are instead acting like ‘Operation Mockingbird’ government-controlled media outlets whose job is anything but speaking truth to power. They’ve morphed into institutions which actively suppress or deny truth to preserve power.
But the reality of legacy media in 2026 is that their ability to suppress truth just ain’t what it used to be. Just about any American who wants to know the truth can find it—and millions upon millions have found it and know it. In this case, many suspected it before the actions of Tulsi Gabbard, but now, thanks to her actions, they know it.
Which brings up the sleeping giant and the mid-terms.

The patriot class of Americans is the sleeping giant America’s enemies have always feared, and justifiably so.
The violent pictures of death and destruction at Pearl Harbor obviously have no parallel in the fabricated Ukraine impeachment. YET…there is a sense in which the internally orchestrated coup against the President elected by the American people —of which the fabricated Ukraine impeachment was just one part—was and is more damaging and potentially fatal to the survival of the Republic than the attack on Pearl Harbor. America is either free and governed by the consent of the governed, or it’s not.
The patriot class of Americans is profoundly and righteously offended by what the CIA and Uniparty apparatus of the Beltway did in the fabricated Ukrainian impeachment.
These actions by people allegedly having responsibility to protect and defend the constitutional Republic are repulsive. They are treasonous/seditious, and inexcusable. Every perpetrator deserves arrest, trial, and if convicted, maximum punishment. Most importantly, though: they and their actions have awakened the sleeping giant.
So what happens next?
The CIA/Deep State/legacy media/Uniparty apparatus will probably think they can find comfort in the various ways they can convince themselves that the ‘patriot class of Americans’ is small and declining.
They will believe that the patriot class is largely the boomer generation that is being swamped by the junior generations; that the junior generations see “no big deal, everybody does it, and besides, ‘Trump is Hitler’”—and so nobody will have the moral courage to bring charges of treason/sedition, and nobody inside the Beltway will vote to indict or convict anyone who was trying to get rid of evil Trump.
Besides, they will create (and fabricate, if necessary) the narrative that Trump’s approval rating is declining, and his term will be ending relatively soon…and so, they will think they can just wait this one out. They will remain smug and defiant. Recent history suggests nothing will happen to them; there will be a fairly easy escape from accountability.
But beware the sleeping giant.
It’s not a single person nor an easily classified group of persons. It is broadly and widely comprised of Americans of all ages and of all rungs on the economic ladder who love this country and know in their hearts what it is supposed to stand for.
Yes, it includes Democrats (Tulsi Gabbard herself was a Democrat most of her adult life) and Republicans and Independents and even Americans who are not politically active. They all know their country is exceptional, they know when it is threatened, and they do not tolerate it. They become fiercely intolerant. They can sense treason, and they are angry about it.
Very few of them are elected officials. They are not per se a military force; they are not an army of clever lawyers; many and maybe most of them may not even participate in garden variety political rallies. But their power, when they are collectively stirred and righteously indignant, is uncontainable and undefeatable—it is a spiritual force.

Back to the mid-terms.
Conventional wisdom on mid-terms rarely has to factor in the influence of the sleeping giant.
Whatever the flaws of President Trump, the sleeping giant of today identifies squarely with him as the intended victim of these treasonous acts.
Will the sleeping giant just go back to sleep for the mid-terms and say ‘what the heck, we’ll sit out this election because we’re ok with more of the leftist/legacy media/Uniparty takeover and destruction of this nation’?
Admiral Yamamoto would doubt it.
