07 Jan SCOTUS and Vaccine Mandates – Cry or Scream, Take Your Pick
Supreme Court justices heard arguments today about the legality of federal vaccine mandates. Questioning by the justices–and yes, especially by the liberal justices–show just how enormous the price America is paying for having lost all semblance of an objective media.
Their questions show an absolutely stunning level of ignorance about covid. Absolutely stunning. These people haven’t got a clue, but they are allowed to make decisions binding upon 325 million people. Talk about the dangers of misinformation…
Justice Sonia Sotomayor:
“Why is a human not like a machine when it is spewing bloodborne viruses?”
Covid isn’t blood borne. And how exactly does a bloodborne virus ‘spew’ anyway?
And btw, Sotomayor showed her bona fides as a left-winger with the standard leftwing worldview: human beings are machines…soulless, programmable carbon units, (with apparently malfunctioning, ‘spewing’ parts) and not offspring of a Creator capable of conferring inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
“Hospitals are almost at full capacity” and there are “over 100,000 children” “in serious condition” with covid, “many on ventilators”.
Not true and nowhere close to anything resembling truth. According to the CDC, as of Jan 1st, there are only 140 children hospitalized from C19 across the US. Even if we look at cumulative numbers since the start of the pandemic, that number is 5,500.
Imagine being entrusted to make a decision on whether to uphold the mandating of a vaccine when you think 100,000 children are currently in the hospital in serious condition with the disease allegedly targeted by the vaccine, but the real number of children in hospitals throughout the nation is 140.
And then imagine what level of respect and deference the American people will have for any decision made by people this ignorant.
There is of course hope that between oral arguments today and the issuance of the Court’s decision, there will be time for Justice Sotomayor to get her facts straight. But this is the problem with overtly liberal or conservative justices: Americans lose trust that any decision they make will be based on facts but instead will always be based on political worldview.

Many Supreme Court Justices have falsely stated today that the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine “prevents disease” and transmission in the work place. This is absolutely false and highly alarming they’re using that point as fact to make their decision.
