03 May The K.I.S.S. Principle Applied to Islam in America
As more and more Americans are awakening to the threat of Islam, their initial reactions often reflect—unsurprisingly—basic American decency. But the Islamic threat is a violent affront to basic American decency, and this critical fact needs to be understood.
So…in the spirit of ‘keep it simple, stupid’, here is what needs to be understood:
Standard first reaction(s) by Americans to the threat of ‘Islamization”
- Don’t overreact…can’t we just ‘live and let live’, and find a way to get along?
- My neighbor’s religion is none of my business, so don’t bother me with the details of what Islam is all about
- I am an American…I don’t pick on people just because they’re different than me, so don’t pick on Muslims
The simple response:
- Islam is not a race or an ethnicity, so concern about the threat of Islamization has nothing to do with picking on people just because they’re different
- Islam is a totalitarian, murderous ideology which by its own written terms seeks the wholesale replacement of the Constitution and American rule of law with sharia (Islamic law);
- Islam expressly teaches its followers to make your religion their business, and rejects a ‘live and let live’ ethos in favor of a merciless and deadly ethos of ‘live if you convert or submit to Islam, and die (be killed) if you don’t’
Much more can be and has been written[1] on these and other issues relating to the threat of Islamization in America…and what can and must be done about it. Solutions will be much more evident and achievable as a growing majority of Americans gain the KISS understanding of the threat.
