We’ve previously acknowledged the talents of Bill Whittle…his latest, “Hooray for Holly Who?” derives optimism from the data in this tweet:
Whittle’s point is that despite what seems to be a leftist takeover of all of America–led in part by Hollywood–the Oscar ratings trend suggests just the opposite. Hollywood leftism is losing influence, and that’s a good thing. The downstream ripple effects may not materialize overnight, but the cultural current is moving away from leftism, not toward it.
