As our friends at American Thinker recently noted here, the legal winds are shifting against websites that advocate conservative values, seeking, among other things, to make the site operators responsible for what commenters write. The commenting function at ACWT has not been especially active, though many of the comments are clearly heartfelt. Our preference would be to allow the comment function to blossom into a forum or community for the exchange of views. But until America more firmly renews its commitment to the rule of law, we will disable the comment function until further notice.

Wayne Allen Root – Clarity re Ukraine

Wayne Allen Root steps up again with this post.  The legacy media narratives are just too over the top in their black-and-white portrayals, and when George Soros weighs in so heavily and exclusively in support of Zelensky, it’s time to be wary, pull back and examine the big picture.  Root

Questioning the Ukraine Narrative

News of world-ending fire risk at a Ukrainian nuclear plant apparently turns out to be false.  But it is certainly consistent with the over-the-top go-to-war drumbeat of the legacy media and deep state mouthpieces like Lindsey Graham.  The possibility of false narratives from the legacy media in 2022 is not

Western powers have long known of Putin’s lust

Dennis Prager – Is Canada Becoming North America’s Cuba?

Many Americans were likely surprised and discouraged when the Canadian House of Parliament upheld Justin Trudeau’s invocation of emergency powers to crush the truckers’ convoy.  The outpouring of popular support by Canadians along the convoy route, and the many viral videos of what the protest was really about–the spirit of
