As our friends at American Thinker recently noted here, the legal winds are shifting against websites that advocate conservative values, seeking, among other things, to make the site operators responsible for what commenters write. The commenting function at ACWT has not been especially active, though many of the comments are clearly heartfelt. Our preference would be to allow the comment function to blossom into a forum or community for the exchange of views. But until America more firmly renews its commitment to the rule of law, we will disable the comment function until further notice.

Seth Keshel – America Needs Statesmen

Seth Keshel is a friend; he has been a frequent guest on America Can We Talk? and a speaker at one of our Women for Freedom Summits.  He is a classic example of an American patriot who has stepped up, yugely, in America’s desperate time of need.  Ten years ago,

A Reply to Kurt Schlichter on the Subject of Election Fraud

Kurt Schlichter is a favorite pundit among many conservatives.  He writes with a level of insightful snark and sarcasm that few can match.  But his latest post at Townhall confirms again that he doesn’t quite get the scope and sophistication of the election rigging that has been at work in

VDH: What the Left Did to Our Country

It’s getting to be almost obligatory to repost and spread far and wide everything Victor Davis Hanson writes about America.  He’s that good, that deep, that spot on…and unfortunately very disturbing.  But as he notes with a ray of hope: [The American people] are starting to wake to the notion

Xi Van Fleet Sounds the Warning

Xi Van Fleet is a personal friend.  She spoke at the second Women for Freedom Summit in 2021.  She knows what she’s talking about.  She’s sounding the right warning, loud and clear.  Listen to her–   If you have a family member or friend who is gleefully celebrating Donald Trump’s

From the article on American Thinker: The problems of America today cannot be solved by politicians or our broken

DebbieG: On RNC Passage of Return to Excellence in American Voting

I strongly commend the RNC’s passage of the Excellence in American Voting Resolution during their August 2023 meeting in Milwaukee.  It includes support for paper ballots and hand-counting of ballots, rejects ranked choice voting, drop boxes and pop-up voting centers, limits early voting and voting by mail, calls for more

Mark Steyn – Who’s Making the Variants?

Few can hold a candle to the intellectual horsepower and high integrity-insight of Mark Steyn; mainstream media editors and reporters are nowhere near. So here is Steyn’s latest…raising deeply uncomfortable but necessary questions about exactly what is going in the pandemic/variant world. The vast majority of humanity do not want

Victor Davis Hanson – Save the Rule of Law By Destroying It?

The astonishing, debilitating moral stupor of these times is captured brilliantly by Dr. Victor Davis Hanson in his latest post on American Greatness. One can only hope that the clearer and more accurate the diagnosis of America’s disease, the closer we are to finding the antidote. From the article: Can

Mark Steyn – The Voters vs the Party

Mark Steyn has long been one of our favorite commentators–incredibly incisive intellectual horsepower with a vast expanse of knowledge across an amazingly broad range of subjects.  And unparalleled writing skills… We would love to see him emerge even stronger from his current health problems.  In the meantime, his latest post
