As our friends at American Thinker recently noted here, the legal winds are shifting against websites that advocate conservative values, seeking, among other things, to make the site operators responsible for what commenters write. The commenting function at ACWT has not been especially active, though many of the comments are clearly heartfelt. Our preference would be to allow the comment function to blossom into a forum or community for the exchange of views. But until America more firmly renews its commitment to the rule of law, we will disable the comment function until further notice.

From American Thinker…

Discouraged?  Remember:  Truth Always Prevails – February 13, 2021 Excerpts from the piece by Tom McAllister: The prevailing culture has now removed the unifying pillars of God and country, and the resultant instability and lack of wisdom have become readily apparent.  Many have lamented for years the irrationality and adverse impact

A Great American Thinker: Bill Whittle

Bill Whittle has been engaged in the arena of ideas for more than a decade; his pro-American ‘takes’ are consistently a cut above most anything else you will read or view elsewhere, and several cuts above any commentary in the legacy media.   By cuts above, we mean more intellectually rigorous

From Sarah Hoyt, posting on Instapundit on February 6, 2021: Look, guys, any honest person who knew math knows. I know the left and the right who hates Trump loves to lie to themselves that “everyone hates Trump.” 1- This is not true. 2- Most people weren’t crazy about Trump

“Shut up!, he explained” has never been a constructive answer to anyone, whether to the 3-year-old asking about 3-year-old things, or the adult asking questions that relate to the future of the free world. Character assassination of those asking questions is also by definition not an answer at all, much

Alternative to Violence: A Solomonic SCOTUS Steps Up?

Let’s be clear:  the chances that the Supreme Court will do anything but punt relative to any of the election fraud claims still pending before it, are the proverbial ‘slim, fat and none’. The totalitarian left has leveraged the January 6 Reichstag fire into a compelled unity of rage against
