As our friends at American Thinker recently noted here, the legal winds are shifting against websites that advocate conservative values, seeking, among other things, to make the site operators responsible for what commenters write. The commenting function at ACWT has not been especially active, though many of the comments are clearly heartfelt. Our preference would be to allow the comment function to blossom into a forum or community for the exchange of views. But until America more firmly renews its commitment to the rule of law, we will disable the comment function until further notice.

Victor Davis Hanson – A Counterrevolution is Building

Among Dr. Hanson’s valuable contributions to America is his rich capacity to draw parallels between known history and the predicaments of the present. The result is that the present mess seems ever-so-slightly less foreboding, because it turns out that history shows there really isn’t anything new under the sun (as

Hello My Very Fine Friends,     I live very near the Allen Outlet Mall in North Texas where the deadly shooting happened yesterday, and had shopped there for the first time just a few weeks ago with a visiting relative. Thankfully the shooter was quickly (but not quickly enough for those who lost loved ones) “neutralized” by a police officer who was

Alex Berenson, former writer for the New York Times, has made a name for himself as one of the most prominent questioners of all things covid. A recent post of his is entitled “On Friendships with Self-Righteous Cowards“, because he’s obviously ticked off at the way he was treated by

Hello My Very Fine Friends,     Do you care that Fox News fired Tucker Carlson this week, despite that his was the most watched cable show?  It appears that his wrongdoing was covering stories that his network decided they’d rather quash.  No one knows with certainty all of the reasons

Naomi Wolf – The Crime of ‘Talking to Tucker Carlson’

The ability and willingness of the MSM to demonize whoever they feel threatens their worldview is truly astonishing; it’s almost hypnotic in its effect on vast numbers of readers/viewers.  Younger generations, in particular, seem vulnerable to being swept along, without any capacity to engage in critical thinking. Tucker Carlson has

Tucker Carslon and Emerald Robinson – This is about good v. evil

Mention the name Tucker Carlson to anyone, and the first word or reaction out of that person’s mouth almost certainly would NOT be ‘theologian’.  But in his remarks at the 50th anniversary of the Heritage Foundation (reproduced from the Conservative Treehouse website), Carlson showed remarkable spiritual discernment and insight regarding

Wayne Allen Root – About that Fox News Settlement…

Turns out Emerald Robinson isn’t the only commentator who noticed the Deep State signals being generated by the Dominion/Fox News litigation and eventual settlement. Wayne Allen Root has stepped up, too, with an analogy to the proverbial bait-and-switch…use the bait of attention to a big dollar settlement entered into by

Emerald Robinson – “The Feds Come for Fox News!”

Few lawsuits exemplify the upside-down condition of America’s justice system, and the moral bankruptcy of corporate America and the media, than the defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News for allegedly defamatory comments made by various Fox reporters and commentators in connection with questions raised about the
