AG Barr is tackling the lawlessness of so-called sanctuary cities, and it’s about time. There is no safety or sanctuary for American citizens in these cities.

ICE veteran Victor Avila has an interesting story.

It is in fact possible to understand what political ideas are ‘American’–meaning consistent with the ideals of the American founding–and which are un-American. Bernie Sanders’ political ideas are un-American.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued an unusually blunt warning about the Chinese threat to America. It was long overdue; America’s ruling class have been asleep to the strategies and goals of communist China for decades.
Don’t buy any noise about Trump’s ‘retaliation’ against Vindman or any others. A President isn’t required to employ his opponents.
The American left is no longer trying to hide its radical agenda. Take a look at the New Way Forward Act.

Mitt Romney is the ruling class exemplified. He can’t see any corruption by a fellow member of the ruling class like Joe Biden, but he is deeply offended by the outsider Donald Trump. We’d guess Romney should enjoy his remaining term as a US Senator; he won’t win another election.

Donald Trump’s instincts flow right with the majority of the American people: there isn’t going to be forgiveness for the coup plotters until there is severe accountability.

Gordon Chang has always been clear-eyed about the threat that is China; and the coronavirus is making a lot of eyes clear up.

Why It Matters – The February 5th Show

Wow. Trump connected with his SOTU address. Guests, especially Rush, contrasted so vividly with petulant Nancy and the ‘suffragettes’. Americans hired Donald Trump to do a job, and he’s done it. A simple formula, but strangely unfamiliar among the ruling class.

And the Iowa fiasco is not the brand the Democrat Party was looking for.

Why It Matters – The February 4th Show

Iowans deserve better than the Democrat Party chicanery. The smell of fraud is unmistakable, and the idea that Democrat voters have a say in electing their candidate is starting to look ridiculous – to Democrat voters.
Dr. Everett Piper is a clear thinker on the culture of America.
The Dems’ behavior since the day after Trump’s election is starting to reek, to all Americans. Trump haters are in a class by themselves, but lots of Democrats who don’t like Trump don’t like what their party is doing, and not doing, these past three years. A Trump landslide is in the making.
And even Senator Lindsey Graham – long suspected of being all hat and no cattle – may actually step up and force the Senate to look at the corruption behind the coup plots.

Bernie Sanders is one giant headache for the Democrat Party–and they know it. The sabotage of Sanders by Dem powerbrokers knows no limits, because they fear a Trump landslide over Sanders would set a new standard for landslides.

We’re in favor of elections that offer real choice and real information and education about those choices. Educated, informed voters should get the government they want.

President Trump’s SOTU will be odd, on the eve of Senate acquittal. Sure feels like the Wednesday acquittal vote is a message of some kind from Schumer or McConnell or both. Sure feels like, whatever the intended message, Trump will only grow in stature from his SOTU address.

Nigel Farage said farewll to the EU–and captured the spirit of anti-ruling class populism that’s sweeping the western world.

Trump rallies and the upcoming SOTU may capture the spirit of why the Senate may soon have the votes to end the impeachment sham.

Pete Buttigieg is discovering the leftist beast he has helped to create and feed, will bite the hand that feeds it. America’s ‘heartland values’ are NOT a dog whistle for racism, but that won’t help Pete, who dared to state a truth that the left will not permit.

A ‘blue wave’ coming in Texas in 2020? Might want to think about these special election results from two days ago. GOP +16

Trump’s proposed “Deal of the Century” is more pro-Israel than most US-produced plans have been. And the idea of de-militarizing Hamas – who wouldn’t support that (other than Hamas)? But Islamic jihadists among the Palestinians are almost certainly going to block the deal. Give Trump credit for leading–

Presumably there are Dems and other liberals who believe this impeachment and trial are helping their political prospects. The 175,000 people who wanted to attend Trump’s rally in Wildwood, NJ, last night suggest otherwise. An epic landslide for Trump may be building…

Nice to see Neil Gorsuch (Trump-appointed Justice of SCOTUS) step up and signal a pullback on activist trial court judges. Way overdue.

John Bolton is exposing himself as a ruling class elitist who is part of the problem in America, not part of the solution.

China’s totalitarian communist society looks a lot like the old Soviet Union as it tries to handle a virus outbreak. Without transparency and truth, problems tend to get worse. Those were among the lessons of Chernobyl; will the Chinese do better?

Santayana suggested the reason the world needs to remember the Holocaust – ‘those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it’.

The Kobe Bryant/MSNBC kefuffle is another reminder of the poison of the cancel culture. Americans need to insist on building or re-building a better culture.

James Golden, a/k/a/ Bo Snerdly of Rush Limbaugh Program fame, is determined to help black Americans break from past loyalty to the Democrat Party. He’ll be a force to reckon with.

China’s management of the Coronavirus is not a confidence-builder so far. But it is a reminder that America needs to tread carefully with any totalitarian communist society.

The Brits have shown the way: Brexit required tenacity and perseverance to overcome the resistance of the ruling class elite. Took nearly 4 years, but they got it done. America needs to get it done, again, in 2020.

Impeachment needs to disappear; it’s an embarrassment to America and the rule of law. President Trump’s defense team needs to be heard, and the Senate needs to dismiss immediately, hopefully next week.

Americans must re-learn that in elections, it’s not about personalities or parties; it’s about ideas. And the leftist ideas on bail reform, prosecutorial discretion and sanctuary cities against enforcement of immigration laws will lead to a culture of lawlessness, which will benefit no one. Republicans may not always be the answer, but in 2020, they are the only answer that preserves America.
